The Manchester branch of the popular Akbar’s award winning curry group is in the city centre. Their extensive menu has a huge range of authentic dishes from North and South India, as well as Pakistan. Favourites such as korma and vindaloo are there as well as more authentic Indian curries like the handi of the day which is is prepared by the chef daily to give diners an opportunity to try an Indian dish that is eaten in India (usually cooked on the bone). Other popular Indian dishes like pakora, gulab jamon and lassi are also on the menu.
