Come and join in, it’s absolutely FREE! Here at Social Circle we are lucky, not only to live in one of the greatest cities in the world, but to be surrounding by exceptional walking routes. Come along and explore walking in Manchester and surrounding areas, and meet some new people along the way.
Distance: 5 miles
A 5 mile easy-going, circular pleasant walk along the Macclesfield Canal and through the grounds of Lyme Park in Cheshire. The route is mainly flat firstly following the canal and marked footpaths with a couple of steep inclines as we enter into Lyme Park. We will climb up to the Cage to admire the views over Cheshire and Manchester then head back out of the park back to the canal.
After the walk we will drive over to the Red Lion on High Lane for a well deserevd sunday lunch.
Food and refreshments payable by you.
