There are many people instrumental in making Social Circle what it is:
I've found my dream job. In fact, the job found me 10 years ago when I returned from extensive world traveling. Having met people from across the globe, travelling and experiencing many, many different cultures, I can speak with almost anyone and drum up a conversation in any situation. However, being Scottish probably means I'm also full of waffle. My jack-of-all-trades knowledge has given me the various tools I need to demonstrate that building a service industry business from scratch can be achieved. I've always found assisting in the enhancement of people's social lives very rewarding. Two kids also help to keep me grounded.
I have overseen the development of the latest incarnation of the website, and the upgrading of the site's framework to ASP.NET. Inspired by Steve's passion for Social Circle, I am happy to be part of the team that is responsible for the group's continued growth.
I'm a Social Circle 'behind the scenes' veteran, having contributed to, not only content, but various other web-related tasks for the better part of a decade. If you receive Social Circle emails, they're most likely from me; so feel free to comment on how tremendous they are.
Hi there! I'm the International Man of Mystery in the Social Circle camp, rarely attending any events but there in spirit. Interests include: Photography, music, films, and travel.
I worked overseas for Thomas Cook for 12 years and was lucky enough to have lived in over 18 different countries during my career as a Resort Manager. I am a team player and love the opportunity to travel. I also enjoy holidays and weekend breaks, either in or out of the sun. Being Scottish, I love to wax lyrically, talk, and share experiences. I like to live life at full speed and Social Circle offers me the opportunity to do just that and more. That's why I love being a host and enjoy meeting new members and helping them to begin their own Social Circle journey.
Social Circle is undoubtedly the most fun business I’ve worked for. Not only do I do the accounts but I’ve become a member too, enjoying the events even more than my work (make that definitely more than my work). When I’m not working and socialising, I enjoy painting, my real passion in life. I hope to be exhibiting my work at a gallery near you soon.
If you get in touch with us for any reason, it could well be me who provides your ultra-friendly response. It’s a good job I’m a people person at heart. I also deal with a lot of the bread and butter administration tasks, such as booking venues for events. Outside of work, I’m a bit of a tennis fanatic, having played on the amateur circuit for the past five years.
From Brazil, I moved to the UK at age 17 for university. Able to speak and write in several languages, I am a vivid communicator that loves public speaking and networking. My goals include being the CEO of my own company at 25, a millionaire by 27, retire from business at 30 and begin my political career with the aim of becoming the second female president of Brazil.
