We meet up at Didsbury cinema where we introduce you to your new Manchester friends and maybe enjoying a coffee before heading in to watch the movie of the week. We always ensure that we take in the latest blockbuster and even watch the occasional live theatre performance broadcast live to Cineworld.
What happens on the night?
It’s a pretty simple formula. We pick a movie, we meet beforehand, enjoy the latest blockbuster, and occasionally enjoy a drink or two afterwards. This isn’t a cinema night where you have to attend every week, you simply dip in and out of it depending on whether you like the look of the movie or not. And there are always new people to meet each week. It's one of our more popular meetups in Manchester.
How about something more cultural?
In terms of the movie, we’re not film snobs- we like superheroes as much as anyone. But that doesn’t mean we don’t like to taste the odd slice of culture every now and then, either. So whether you feel like leaving your brain at home or watching something more stimulating, there’s something for you
So how does it work?
We know it’s a little unusual to turn up at an event knowing no one, so we don’t expect you to. Instead, we introduce you to the founders and then to the event host, who will make sure you’re feeling excited and not too nervous.
