It is said of Manchester that it is a city where you can eat out for 30 days without repeating a single country’s cuisine, which is great – except that as always in the UK, we undervalue our own culinary traditions and the best of classic British cooking.
How do they define ‘the best of British’ at Sam’s Chop House? It’s simple. They buy the best local ingredients from people we know who are real enthusiasts and mad about food, and we cook classic British dishes that Mrs Beeton would have been proud of, but give them a modern twist. You could call it authentic British cooking for the 21st century. Or not call it anything at all, but just come and enjoy it.
