We'll get to know each other at the Slug and Lettuce where we'll get a chance to discuss our likes and dislikes of international culture before we head over to Albert Square, the heart of the festivities.
Designed by award-winning architects Stephenson Bell, the Festival Pavilion is the beating heart of the Festival. First and foremost, it’s a great meeting place, both before and after the shows. Alongside a bar, serving a wide variety of drinks until the wee small hours, there’ll be a café and bar menu using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. But that’s not all. Late in the evening, DJs drawn from some of the city’s best club nights will provide the sounds, occasionally joined by special surprise guests. And the best bit? Admission is always free to everyone. See you there…
In 2009, the BBC’s Culture Show will cover Manchester International Festival, documenting world premiere performances and specially commissioned projects.
Today's DJ will be Yellow featuring Dave Haslam & special guest Ashley Beedle (X-Press 2).
Social Circle offers a NATURAL, fun way of meeting like-minded people so book your place now to take your social life into your own hands and meet some new Manchester friends. Don't forget there's no need to worry, even if it's your first event. You will be met by a host and friendly bunch of individuals, who will all help you to feel at home.
