Caribbean Carnival of Manchester

Held each summer in Alexandra Park, this popular free festival is one of the largest Caribbean events in the city and includes live bands, DJ sets, a procession, traditional Caribbean food and drink stalls and plenty of family-friendly events. There is also a fairground and an arts and craft fair. There is a chance to enjoy a range of Caribbean food, from roti and curry to jerk chicken, and a range of stalls offering the chance to buy clothes and accessories and a family-friendly fairground. The stage area will once again feature a range of musical highlights from DJs to steel bands and the best of R ’n’ B, reggae and soul. This event is free and it’s well worth turning up to enjoy a glimpse of Caribbean culture. No more bookings being taken for this event.
