A full weekend of Beer ’n’ Blues. Band on the Wall present the finest artists the UK’s blues scene has to offer together with a 20 pump bar featuring brews from local breweries.

Jo Harman is widely regarded as the most exciting blues/soul/roots artist to emerge in Europe for decades.

The Daily Mirror, no less, described her as ‘the finest female soul blues singer in the UK’ and Jo’s 2013 debut album ‘Dirt On My Tongue’ received remarkable critical acclaim and no little commercial success making various of ‘best of’ lists and awards, internationally.

In Summer 2014 she and her band received no less than 4 nominations for the British Blues Awards, including best singer (which she won), as well as best songwriter (runner up). Having received the awards, Jo graciously asked not to be considered in future years on the basis 'music shouldn't be a competition' plus she regards herself as 'a singer', as her varied material demonstrates, rather than simply a 'Blues singer' per se.

She is currently dividing her time between Europe and North America - having recently signed a Stateside deal with SFE distributed through Universal/Caroline - recording her second studio album at the famed Sound Emporium in Nashville with noted producer Fred Mollin (Barbra Streisand, Joe Cocker, Rumer, Carly Simon, Sheryl Crow etc etc). In the meantime last autumn she released a limited edition (physical only) 'intimate' EP of piano and string quartet, called 'Found A Place', produced by four time Grammy nominated James McMillan, which one BBC producer named 'as the single most moving record of the year'.

Live, her soul fuelled show ranges from hard driven rock to intimate, heart warming ballads featuring not only her own emotive songwriting but also her personal take on well known standards.

Jo will also have support from special guest Seany Clarke a British singer-songwriter whose music is as independent-spirited as it is sweet to the ear. His unique blend of soul, indie and funk has drawn comparison with songwriters - Shuggie Otis, Sly Stone, Curtis Mayfield, Elvis Costello, among others - with the addition of his own fearless 21st century twist.
