Be part of something bigger and expand your Social Circle here. Formed from a small collection owned by the Trade Union, Labour and Co-operative History Society in the 1960s, the People’s History Museum has From fly-posting to picture frame, from street to gallery, Hull Rock Against Racism posters present a powerful reminder of the continuing battle against racism.
Originally part of a radical movement in community activism in the late 1970s, RAR in Hull brought together musicians, artists, trade unionists, students and residents to celebrate tolerance and diversity while campaigning against those who would destroy our basic human rights. Still packing a visual punch, these compelling posters are as relevant now as ever.
Admission is free but the museum does ask you to consider a donation.
