Stockport is bringing live comedy up close and personal in Stockport Old Town.

After the sell-out success of September and October’s events, make sure you get your ticket for December’s comedy night, brought to you by our local resident King of Comedy, Mr Martin Bain.

This month Kiwi comic Sully O’Sullivan comes to Seven Miles Out for the last comedy night of the year.

Sully is a comedian of international calibre; in the past he’s has been declared a highlight of the New Zealand International Comedy Festival by The NZ Herald, a highlight of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival by The Scotsman, featured on Australian TV’s The Comedy Channel, hosted a sellout standup tour of Croatia, won Canada’s annual Improvaganza Tournament, and completed 2 UK national tours supporting cult Heavy Metal Comic Steve Hughes.

Opening December’s show will be Peter Brush – a highly distinctive performer with an arsenal of razor sharp quirky one-liners and peerlessly original routines.

A BBC New Comedy Award 2013 finalist, Peter has also written for BBC Radio 4’s ‘The News Quiz’, ‘The Show What You Wrote’ and ‘Newsjack’, and has done tour support for Arthur Smith and Stephen K Amos.

As ever, your MC for the evening is Danny Sutcliffe, who likes to paint his face like a lion..
