Cheesy Day out in Blackpool

**We are no longer taking bookings for this event** Come along to the nation's 'fun' holiday capital and visit some of the highlights such as the Promenade and Pleasure Beach with some new Manchester friends. Blackpool is bursting with thrills, excitement and entertainment. Britain’s most popular beach resort – which attracts more than 10 million visitors a year – is forging ahead with a growing diary of fabulous world-class events to enhance its fantastic attractions, top entertainment and sensational live shows. It's a town full of firsts: taller, faster roller coasters, bigger clubs, even the biggest mirror ball in the world plus world-class shows, cosmopolitan restaurants, vibrant nightlife, an active sports scene and breathtakingly beautiful scenery on Blackpool's doorstep. We'll begin with a hop on the tram and trundle along the Promenade. Along the way we'll marvel at the musical high-tide organ which joins the ever-growing range of giant sculptures and eye-catching artworks on New South Promenade. We'll then play it largely by ear, but I'm sure we'll enjoy some candy floss and a ride or two along the way :) There's something for everyone at Pleasure Beach, Blackpool. There are over 125 rides and attractions, plus spectacular shows There's everything from thrilling white-knuckle rides - the Pepsi Max Big One, Grand National and our latest rollercoaster: Infusion - to leisurely cruises around the River Caves and Alice's Wonderland. For the kids - Beaver Creek Theme Park, home to Bradley Beaver and his very own Log Flume amongst many other child friendly rides. Also joining the line up is Adventure Golf located outside of Pleasure Beach. This 12-hole state of the art course features family friendly layout with beginners and expert obstacles to negotiate. Any drinks or food are additional and payable by you. We'll be travelling by train from Manchester Piccadilly, departing from Manchester at 09:16 and arriving in Blackpool at 10:35.
