Since the old indoor venue on Devonshire Road, budding Torvill and Deans have been forced to travel to venues like the Blackburn Ice Arena to get in their practice in. But much to the joy of local skaters, the new venue on Oakfield Road has now cut down the travel time and made skating in Greater Manchester one of THE favourite pastimes again. Altrincham Ice Dome is an approximately 2,526 capacity ice rink in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, England. It has 2,026 seats according to the floorplan, and up to 500 standing places.
