A concert is the perfect environment to meet new people in Manchester with similar interests, enthuse about the concert during the interval or after the show has ended, and essentially just get involved with the latest in Manchester concerts.
Celebrating 30 years on the road, having opened shows for B.B. King and Ray Charles, and toured with the Blues Brothers Band, King Pleasure & The Biscuit Boys promise a rocking night of swing, jazz and blues.
Paul Jones on BBC Radio 2 called them “the hardest act to follow since the parting of The Red Sea”,
Atomic Magazine from New York wrote “To those who say that swing is a musical form best left to Americans, prepare to be proven wrong. This British combo is bullet-proof!”
The Guardian said “Behind the fun and rollicking good times lies an outfit skilled enough for the horns to come on with the bite and precision of the Basie Band”
2017 will be the year that King Pleasure & The Biscuit Boys celebrate a remarkable 30 years on the road.
The price to attend the event includes the ticket price plus, where applicable, booking fee and Venue Restoration Levy. Additional per transaction charges, ranging from £2.50 to £12.50 for handling apply.
