Cheese Making - Camembert & Feta

Imagine having oodles of fun whilst meeting new people! There is always a great mix of friendly people on our events so if you are in the mood to try some new activities, then this is the event for you.

Our priority is to make sure people have fun and make new friends in a safe friendly environment. Your host will text you in advance to ease any nerves, welcome you and introduce you to other members, as well as being on hand to ensure you have a great time.

During this hands-on class you will make your own camembert and feta, leaving with approx 2 little camemberts and a block of feta to mature at home. Over the next couple of weeks you will delight in seeing the lovely furry white coat develop on your camemberts and will immerse your feta in a salty brine. These are both excellent recipes and produce the most wonderful cheese!

You will also learn how to make Labneh (middle eastern cheese) with a demonstration using it in a delicious blue cheese spread (which we’ll enjoy on crusty bread with lunch) and will leave having had a little tipple of homemade Irish cream ….. and if time permits, we’ll make a batch of moreish parmesan shortbread!

Experience includes:
Tea or Coffee on arrival and a glass of wine with lunch. Plenty of cheese to take home and a head full of good intentions to make your own cheese!
