Pay a visit to the Spanish and Latin film festival at the Cornerhouse and enjoy a drink or two with some new Manchester friends.
We can look forward to a packed programme including Paraguayan comedy Mal Día Para Pescar; Spanish family drama La vergüenza; Catalan coming-of-age tale Little Indi and guest appearances from award-winning writer-director Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón and short filmmaker Luis Arambilet.
This year, they have extended the dates of the festival: instead of 9 days of intensive film watching you will have a whole month to discover the best in Hispanic cinema. They hope this will allow you catch all the films you really want to see and to discover some hidden gems along the way.
They are also extending the ¡Viva! offering to their galleries as they welcome internationally acclaimed Mexican artist Carlos Amorales to Manchester. Amorales’ exhibition presenting his inter-media installations Psicofonias (2008) and Discarded Spider (2008).
Steve your host will TEXT you on the day telling you where he is and what he's wearing in The Cornerhouse so you'll have his number just in case you're running late or want him to meet you outside first.
Any drinks or food are additional and payable by you.
