Get spiritual with some new Manchester friends on this feel-good meditation class.
These weekly meditation sessions consist of an initial period of calm abiding meditation with full instructions for newcomers.
This is followed by a second session of reflective meditation which will focus on one of the essential topics of the Buddha's teachings.
All are then welcome to stay for tea.
Kagyu Ling, the first Buddhist centre to be founded in Manchester, was established in 1975 by Karma Thinley Rinpoche and Lama Jampa Thaye.
The centre allows people to learn the systems of meditation and study of the Karma Kagyu tradition of Buddhism, whose spiritual head is the Karmapa Lama.
The cost of the class is £3, payable on the day.
Steve your host will TEXT you on the day telling you where he is and what he's wearing at Kagyu Ling Buddhist Centre so you'll have his number just in case you're running late or want him to meet you outside first.
Any drinks or food are additional and payable by you.
