You dont have to have been before to join is our monthly book club.
One for book lovers in a relaxing and intimate venue. Chatting about a mutual passion is one of the ways to get to know people so come along and express your views on our chosen novel, your week ahead, or any other subject that comes up. 
It was a great book club last month where we discussed the December book: Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy - an interesting book, full of ideas, smart, funny and surprisingly influential in society today, Marvin, Number 42, etc.
We also discussed the January Book: Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris. Angela has read 5 of the subsequent books from The Southern Vampire Mysteries series (of 10, but with more on the way, apparently...), so was very supportive of the subject and style, however the others in the meeting didn't rate it so highly. (The TV series based on the books are good though...)
We did decide on a subsequent book for next time: 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo' Stieg Larsson (Book 1 of a trilogy) "An epic tale of serial murder and corporate trickery spanning several continents, the novel takes in complicated international financial fraud and the buried evil past of a wealthy Swedish industrial family."
So we're going a bit more high brow for Spring...
