Come and laugh along with some new Manchester friends at Didsbury's popular comedy night.
Live stand up comedy in Didsbury. If you want some serious comedy then this is the place to be!
Steve Gribbin first took to the stage at the tender age of 13. He was cruelly beaten into third place by a ventriloquist and a Donny Osmond impersonator. By his late teens, Steve was fifty per cent of comedy duo Skint Video just as something called ‘alternative comedy’ was beginning to infuriate the tabloids.. All good things come to an end and Skint Video was no different. Steve got custody of the guitar and metamorphosised into the comedy circuit’s most prolific and productive performer. ‘A highly refreshing and original comic. Hilarious!’ The Scotsman ‘Pulls it off with real aplomb.’ The Independent Self-confessed ‘weird human being’, Jonny Pelham has appeared on Live at the Apollo, Mock The Week, Alan Davies As Yet Untitled, Russell Howard’s Stand-up Central, Live from the BBC and Bobby and Harriet Get Married. Harry Stachini used to teach kids. Naughty kids. As in really, really naughty kids and, if you can make a success of that how difficult is a career as a stand up comedian? This natural comic, still of comparatively few summers, allows his natural warmth to carry hilarious tales and intricately spun stories with a skill usually only present in much more experienced comics. “Well observed characterisations and anecdotes” The Skinny “Audience in stitches with gags” Bedfordshire News Your show comes complete with Sabina Mahmood. Didsbury Comedy Club is booked, marketed and produced by Comedy In A Van
