In recognition of the World Cup which kicks off in June, this month’s walk follows the theme of sport in Manchester.
Manchester is modern football; this tour aims to explain why and also celebrates the many other sporting achievements of the city.
The walk is led by a professional Green Badge guide, Sue McCarthy, and lasts approximately 1 ½ hours. Afterwards, we will have a drink together in a nearby pub or bar (optional).
Sue your host will TEXT you on the day telling you where she is and what she's wearing at Manchester Visitor Centre so you'll have her number just in case you're running late or want her to meet you outside first.
