Football fans can once again look forward to having a beer in the sunshine and watching England on a big screen in Manchester.
Up to 17,500 fans will be able to watch World Cup matches on a giant screen in Castlefield Arena in what the council claims will be a 'strictly-controlled safety zone.'
The Hyundai Fan Park at Castlefield Arena will be screening all 64 matches across the 31 days of the event, so you can soak up the World Cup atmosphere in a fun and safe environment.
Three giant screens will relay all the action from South Africa, whilst the five-a-side beach football arena brings a touch of Copacabana to Castlefield.
Although supporters will be banned from bringing alcohol onto the site, beer/food will be available from licensed bars on site.
