Fancy a more relaxing weekend? On a Social Circle weekend, you decide what works for you. Either join the beautiful social walks on offer, or bob into the local town a short distance away for a coffee & cake, or take advantage of the peaceful tranquillity of the lodge...the choice is completely yours.
We will be staying at the stunning Capel Curig but will also be branching out to surrounding areas, such as Betws-y-Coed, the gateway to Snowdonia and its neighbouring towns and villages. This magical setting has a distinctly Alpine feel enhanced by the dense Gwydyr Forest surrounding Betws-y-Coed.

Never tried a Social Circle weekend before? Itinerary:
Friday
Friday evening - welcome get-together with a glass of wine, bubbly or beer which will give everyone a chance to get to know each other. Then dinner at around 8pm at the local pub and a chance to sample the local ale on offer.
Saturday
We will set off from our accommodation on a lovely 8 mile walk, allowing us to see the beauty that lies right on our doorstep.
For those who just fancy seeing Betws-y-Coed at their own leisure instead of taking part in the walk, this stunning location gives visitors a chance to take life at their own pace.
To finish off Saturdays day activities in the evening we will be eating at a lovely local restaurant, where we are guaranteed a quality meal and gives us a chance to catch up on the day's events over a chilled glass of wine or local ale.
Sunday
After a lazy start reading the papers and after a good hearty breakfast, we will set off a few miles up the road to the Valley for a five mile circular walk around lake Idwal. Here, we will take in the spectacular sights of the Glyderau and Carneddau mountain ranges before we head home.

Nestled amongst spectacular scenery, between a river and a network of mountain footpaths, the lodge is uniquely positioned for outdoor enthusiasts. It has a patio area with fantastic views overlooking a mountain river and waterfall, a large drying room and a welcoming living room with fantastic waterfall views and real fire, perfect for cosying up after our day's events! The Mountain Lodge is comfortable for group accommodation with an ensuite shower and toilet in each bedroom.
