The Art:
Liverpool Biennial is the largest as well as one of the most exciting contemporary visual arts events in the UK, and with 960,000 visits in 2008, it is one of the best attended in the world.
Spend an hour exploring the varied artworks on display in 52 Renshaw Street, visit 106 Wood Street to view an animation by Raymond Pettibon within a newly commissioned installation; stand under a 7-metre sword by Kris Martin in The Black-E.
Before ending your trip at either FACT or the Bluecoat, be sure to walk down Duke Street to see Do Ho Suh’s spectacular Korean House precariously balanced between two buildings.
Lunch is payable by yourselves on the day. Entry to most of the exibitions is free.
PJ your host will TEXT you on the day telling you where he is and what she's wearing at the train station so you'll have his number just in case you're running late or want him to meet you first.
