Stanage Edge from Hathersage

Length: 13 miles

Duration: 6h excluding stops

Difficulty level: 4

Transport: train to Hathersage (£9 return)

Beautiful linear walk through one of the most impressive gritstone ridges in Peak District (think “Pride and Prejudice” and Keira Nightly’s billowing skirts on a rocky outcrop, that’s where it was filmed!) ending in an impressive climb from Ladybower Reservoir up Win Hill and a descent to Hope. This walk offers a real sense of achievement and some of the most beautiful views in Peak District including the impressive Stanage Edge, one of the most famous climbing spots in the Pennines. We will finish in hope where we can stop to rest in a pub or just hop on the train to Manchester for a well deserved hot bath at home!

Kasia your host will TEXT you on the day telling you where she is and what she's wearing so you'll have her number just in case you're running late or want her to meet you outside first.
