Join us for a night at the pictures as we take advantage of Orange Wednesday 2 for 1 Cinema Night! Easy and Cheap and Cheerful. Vantage Point SYNOPSIS Thomas Barnes (Dennis Quaid) and Kent Taylor (Matthew Fox) are two Secret Service agents assigned to protect President Ashton (William Hurt) at a landmark summit on the global war on terror. When President Ashton is shot moments after his arrival in Salamanca, Spain, chaos ensues and disparate lives collide. In the crowd is Howard Lewis (Forest Whitaker), an American tourist videotaping the historic event to show his kids when he returns home. Also there is Rex (Sigourney Weaver), an American TV news producer who is reporting on the conference. It's only as we follow each person's perspective of the same 15 minutes prior to and immediately after the shooting that the terrifying truth behind the assassination attempt is revealed. Each episode not only reveals new things about the previously depicted events but takes the story further into the future. The sixth and final segment uses multiple new points-of-view - primarily those of the assassins and their associates - to close holes and drive the story to a conclusion. This is a visceral exploration of a pivotal hypothetical historical moment and gives multiple points of view, to a fear that is close to the heart of every American President.
