Beautiful Countryside Walk with Optional Traditional Sunday Roast in the Roaches
January is the time to get outdoors and loose some of them festive calories. Walk in Beautiful woodlands, wide open moorland, stunning gritstone boulders, and a rock chasm which once was a hiding place of Robin Hood and even (legend has it) Bonnie Prince Charlie – I bet you didn’t know you had all of this at your doorstep?
Join Social Circle this January for a 7 mile Sunday ramble in the most beautiful corner of Peak District – the Roaches, and you can see it all for yourself. After a gentle 3 and half hour walk through this gorgeous part of Staffordshire we will finish the day at “Knight’s Table” for a well deserved roast and a pint by the roaring fire. There’s nothing like a lovely countryside walk on a Sunday, why not give it a try?
