Wandering Duck Canal Boat Experience - Peak District to Manchester City Centre - Friday 17th August to Sunday 19th August
For the first time, Wandering Duck is extending their usual weekend trip to go right in to the city centre of Manchester ahead of the Manchester Canal Festival.
Join us on this unique 2 night trip, starting on Friday evening on the edge of the Peak District National Park, and finishing on Sunday afternoon in the heart of the Northern Quarter where you may choose to carry on the weekend at one of the many bars.
This is an extension of our Locks & Tunnels trip.
Highlights include:
- Pub Stops
- On-board Honesty Bar (including a real-ale hand pump)
- Have a go at steering the 69ft Narrowboat (before drinking of course!)
- Marple Lock Flight (16 locks) 
- Marple Aqueduct 
- Two tunnels, including Hyde Bank Tunnel (300m)
- Portland Basin & Museum
- Ashton Lock Flight (18 locks)
We also include:
- All meals including home cooked 2 course evening meal
- Free tea, real ground coffee, and hot chocolate with marshmallows
