Poet Laureate and Festival patron Carol Ann Duffy will perform a selection of hugely popular and inspirational poems from her acclaimed catalogue, which includes award-winning collections Mean Time, The World’s Wife, Rapture and most recently The Bees. She will be joined on stage by the brilliant poetry band LiTTLe MACHiNe (Walter Wray, Steve Halliwell and Chris Hardy), who use a variety of instruments, strong melodies and watertight harmonies to give a new voice to classic and contemporary poems. William Carlos Williams, Blake, Shakespeare and, of course, Carol Ann Duffy, are all put to song. Don’t miss this very special treat for poetry lovers everywhere.

Tickets are £8.
