The Acti-Life is a brand new scheme which looks to try and encourage people to increase physical activity levels . All participants of the Acti-Life scheme will be given an accelerometer, this device monitors movement within each stride, it connects to the trainer to monitor activity levels which then uploads to an application which links to our Acti-Life website so that the client can see how many steps they have taken throughout the day.
Recruiting in January for a Feb start date, the Acti-iLiFE is a 3 month scheme which we are looking to recruit 150 inactive, sedentary, non gym members. The scheme aims to target participants who have sedentary jobs or lifestyles to try to encourage them to become more physically active this does not have to be about using the gym. During the 3month process there will be regular contact from a member of the ActiLlife scheme to try to encourage the clients to set new goals, evaluate their current achievements and also to keep a track of their exercise sessions. The online element of the scheme can really help people to keep a track of their steps taken each day. So why not get involved the scheme is completely free!
