A newly hitched couple experience many trials during their first year of married life - can the union last? Many wedding comedies build up to the happy couple's big day. I Give It a Year on the other hand examines post-wedding jitters - in painfully funny fashion! If Josh (Rafe Spall) and Nat (Rose Byrne) thought the best man's speech from Danny (Stephen Merchant) wasn't awkward enough, that's nothing compared to what unfolds once they've got hitched! As the film charts the first nine months of their marriage, the couple start to doubt whether they're meant to be together. Further problems soon rear their head in the form of Josh's ex-girlfriend, Chloe (Anna Faris) and Nat's handsome client, Guy (Simon Baker). Are these the people Josh and Nat are destined to be with? Borat writer Dan Mazer delivers a wonderfully wince-inducing comedy in which events like romantic wooing with white doves - not to mention a family photo session - spell comic disaster!
