In the heart of the Northern Quarter, the English Lounge is as the name suggests the most 'English' of venues with leather sofas, bookshelves, prints on the walls and lots of dark wood setting the tone.
It spreads over two floors with the upstairs lighter and brighter with a cream and aubergine colour scheme.
Made using only locally sourced ingredients and served with home made Yorkshire puddings, oven baked roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and piping hot homemade gravy, the English Lounge offer one of the best Sunday lunches in Manchester.
