Live from Jodrell Bank New Order & Johnny Marr
One of the most acclaimed and influential bands of the last four decades, New Order pioneered the electronic sound that helped pave the way for the dance/house music explosion at the end of the 80s.
New Order have invited one of the greatest guitarists the UK has ever produced who formed The Smiths, one of the most important bands in the history of music. Johnny Marr and New Order's Bernard Sumner formed Electronic at the end of the 80's, a classic alternative pop group and this is a rare opportunity to catch them sharing the same stage.
Electro architects The Whip, Jake Evans (Bad Lieutenant) and experimental indie rock outfit Hot Vestry are support acts handpicked by the legendary New Order.
