And to ensure this year’s event is the most spectacular yet, there’s a whole host of new and revamped displays including Theatre D’Amour, Venus Reborn, Talbot Square and Brilliance, which are designed to dazzle and delight the crowds with new programmes, sounds and shows. Not forgetting the magnificent jewel in the crown, Blackpool Tower will also help showcase just why the Illuminations are regarded as a truly world class lighting attraction.
However visitors choose to enjoy Blackpool’s award-winning Illuminations, they’re guaranteed a sparkling night, whatever the weather. And with even more exciting projects yet to be announced, including plans for a ¼ mile gallery of illuminated street art by some of the UK’s top rated Urban artists, 2013 is set to be a year to remember.
We'll make an early start so we can take in some of the other attractions, such as Pleasure Beach.
