Heavy metal legends Black Sabbath will perform at Manchester Arena this December to celebrate the release of their long-awaited new album 13. Featuring the original line-up of Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler, the Birmingham trio will be performing tracks from the Rick Rubin produced 13 - their first studio album since 1978’s Never Say Die – alongside classic heavy metal hits from their 40-plus year back catalogue. Formed in Aston, Birmingham in 1969, Black Sabbath are cited as the pioneers of heavy metal. The band helped define the genre with the classic albums Paranoid, Master of Reality and 1970’s self-titled debut and have been ranked by MTV as the “Greatest Metal Band” of all time. Heavy metal legends Black Sabbath will be supported by Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats.
