The first avenger teams up with The Falcon to unravel a sinister conspiracy in this thrilling sequel. The modern world has come as quite a shock to Captain America (Chris Evans). During 'Avengers Assemble', he was astonished to find that S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) had not been entirely honest. Two years on from the events of that film, he's bonded with Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) but still struggles to find his place in the 21st century. Now his misgivings about S.H.I.E.L.D. multiply when senior agent Alexander Pierce (Robert Redford) reveals a rather troubling agenda. As our clean-cut hero becomes embroiled in a dark political conspiracy, he teams up with soaring superhero and kindred spirit The Falcon (Anthony Mackie) to take on the mysterious Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan).
