The 10th Chorlton Beer and Cider Festival will be held on 3rd, 4th & 5th July 2014 at St Clement's Church on Edge Lane in Chorlton-cum-Hardy. Run in conjunction with St Clements, the festival began in 2005 to raise funds for the repair of the church buildings, but has grown to become a firm fixture in the Chorlton social calendar and the branch's premier festival. Year on year the festival has grown with more beers, more ciders & more visitors - so much so that despite a 20% increase in the beer order for 2012, the festival visitors still drunk it dry on Saturday evening. In 2013 the bars did stay open until then end. For 2014 we will be having around 95 cask ales plus 50 ciders & perries and bottled foreign beers. The festival takes place in the grounds of the Church, with two real ale bars, a cider, perry bar and a fourth bar serving bottled beers.
A small fee, app £3, payable on the day.
