An exhilarating rollercoaster of a production that will appeal to rebels and adolescents of all ages! Set in London and Brighton at the height of the 1960s Mod Scene, Quadrophenia is told through the eyes of Jimmy, a hedonistic style-conscious teenager who hates his job, is misunderstood by his parents and lives for his music and to be with his scooter-riding Mod clique. Quadrophenia was released by The Who in 1973. It was a towering triumph as Pete Townshend’s second major rock opera following Tommy in 1969. The true genius of the work was recognised by Rolling Stone magazine and VH1 who both listed it amongst the 100 Greatest Albums of all Time. A glorious tribute to an era of youthful change and musical brilliance.
