With over 9 million Daily Mail readers a week, Matthew Jukes has the most keenly followed wine column in the UK. He also writes a weekly piece for MoneyWeek and occasional articles for The Week. Matthew was made Honorary Australian of the Year in the UK in 2012 by the Australia Day Foundation. He was also voted the most influential wine writer in the UK by OLN in 2011 and he was also presented with the Journalism Award at the Portuguese Wine Awards in March 2013 and the English Wine Producers Communicator Award in July 2103. He has won the highly prestigious International Wine & Spirit Competition’s Trophy for Wine Communicator of the Year. He is the wine buyer for Bibendum Restaurant & Oyster Bar, the MW Eat Collection of Indian Restaurants in London which includes Chutney Mary, Amaya & Veeraswamy. He is also the wine buyer for the private wine club Quintessentially Wine. Matthew is the author of fourteen wine books, most recently ’100 Most Iconic Wine Estates’ and he is the Founder and Patron of Touch Wine, Wine Rules & Touch Vinnie-Yard - all raising money for homeless charities in Australia.
