Do you want to explore the area around you more? Have you got a bike? This bike ride is for you to find out more about the Irwell River Park, its history and wildlife, and to discover a couple of Salford’s hidden gems.
Rides will be around 2 hours in length, returning to Salford Quays at the end. Some sections we will have to dismount and walk or carry the bikes up steps.
There is a ‘Dr Bike’ session starting from 10am just before the rides outside the Watersports Centre, so if there’s any advice you need or minor problem with your bike that needs checking out, you can bring it along then.
Bring a water bottle, and clothing and footwear for the outdoors.
