An honest and revealing 20th anniversary portrait of the multi-platinum boy band, plus a live performance. They are the biggest boy band in history, with 130 million album sales to their credit. But what happened when the Grammy-nominated Backstreet Boys became men? In 2012, the original line-up reunited for the first time in six years. Cameras were on hand to follow them to a London recording studio to start work on their new album and plan their 20th anniversary relaunch. From Stephen Kijak, lauded director of 'Scott Walker: 30 Century Man', this surprisingly intimate and emotional documentary is an extraordinary account of ambition, fame, betrayal and renewal. It addresses openly old tensions and rivalries between these five likeable, hard-working lifelong friends who achieved so much together. This premiere screening will be followed by an exclusive live satellite performance by the Backstreet Boys, who will be playing some of their favourite tracks.
