Sometimes we walk in a particular place because of its beauty, other times we've heard good things about a particular pub and need an excuse to go there. This walk is one of those. And the pub is The Bells of Peover, south of Knutsford (http://www.thebellsofpeover.com/).
We'll start at the pub in Lower Peover and walk in a loop of about 8 miles, pausing for a lunch stop (bring a sandwich) near Peover Hall (http://peoverhall.com/). Sadly it's only open on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so we can't do more than look from a distance. This walk is almost certainly the flattest Sunday walk on the calendar this year. We hardly ever walk in Cheshire because of its lack of hills - so if you don't like hills, make the most of this opportunity! Let's hope the weather is kind to us, but in case it's muddy, bring trainers to change into for the pub/ride home. Car sharing available. Kit list: hat, gloves, warm clothes, waterproof jacket and trousers, walking trousers walking boots as may be slippy tea flask. Regular walking can... fill you with energy and confidence help you beat stress make your heart fitter and strengthen your bones help you keep your weight down
