A day's Introduction into mountain biking in one of the most glorious and exciting trails in North Wales. We will be exploring the Marin Trail in the Gwydyr forest North Wales near Betws y Coed.
The route provides a variety forest road trails and technical single tracks weaving through trees and boulders, across streams and down snaking ridge lines to get your heart and brakes pumping. We will choose appropriate trails to suit all abilities so don’t worry if you haven’t been out on your bike for a while as we will ease you in gradually. It would be desirable though if you have some previous biking experience. You will find the whole experience exhilarating.
Big views, big descents, this trail has it all. It really feels like "proper" mountain biking as the trails take you further into the forest, the views get more spectacular and the single track just gets better and better past cascading waterfalls, crystal clear lakes, awe inspiring mountain vistas and forgotten river valleys deep in the Gwydyr forest provide a stunning scenic backdrop.
What to bring;
A small day ruck sack 20-30 lts
Lunch and plenty of water 1 ½ lts min
Tight fit clothing e.g. stretchy tracksuit bottoms stretchy top etc.
Light rain shorty waterproof jacket
Trainers
Cost includes helmet, guide, and all Social Circle fees.
