Overview: Join us for our annual 2 day fantastic kayaking course around the superb coast of Anglesey taking in some of the local wildlife with seals and possibly even dolphins. We will be camping on the beach so no matter what your ability you will be well looked after with our professional instructor for 2 days being taught all the ins and outs of how to develop or improve your individual technique. Get outdoors for the summer and have some fun learning a new skill as part of a fun group. Package includes: All equipment hire with kayaks and professional instructor on hand all weekend, Fri & Sat camping fees with all camping equipment supplied inclusive of tents. All food inclusive, breakfast Sat and Sun mornings, evening meals Fri and Sat, packed lunch for Sat and Sun. Let us look after you for the weekend with this all inclusive package. Saturday night is our traditional barbeque with camp fire, not to be missed! Itinerary: Friday Arrival dinner: 8.00 pm approx with weekend briefing from Steve your guide/instructor/tutor. We'll have a bite to eat and then go for a few drinks at the local pub for a chance to get to know each other better! On Saturday Messing around in boats…have you ever tried kayaking ? Well this is an opportunity not to be missed. A weekend for all abilities from the complete beginner to those who already have some experience. Being guided on various techniques it doesn’t take long to master the rudiments of kayaking and within a short time you will be paddling along on the sea at a gentle pace taking in all that nature provides and marvelling at its beauty in Rhoscolyn Bay on Anglesey. The bay has much to offer with its golden sands and gently sloping beach and out towards the islands which shelters its entrance from unwanted weather. You will feel closer to nature as we mingle with the local wildlife from sea birds to basking seals and perhaps the odd porpoise or dolphin! Who knows what we might see. This activity gets you close to nature and allows you time to think and soak in the beauty of our natural environment. We will spend Sat morning familiarising ourselves with the equipment, developing the necessary paddling skills and of course having a bit of fun! In the afternoon we will venture a bit further out of the bay to see what we might see! The views around the bay are stunning as we look across to the mainland of Wales and the mountains of Snowdonia and on a clear day you can see all the way down the Llyn Peninsula. Saturday night is our traditional barbecue with camp fire, not to be missed! On Sunday We have a number of options to consider depending on the weather. We could stay around the bay or load up the trailer and explore a different part of the coastline around Trearddur Bay or Porth Dafarch rock hopping our way along channels and bays or we might go on a journey on the inland sea between Holy Island and Anglesey. We will be based on a local campsite which is 2 min away from the beach on the west coast of Anglesey right next to Rhoscolyn in one of Anglesey’s best kept secret locations.
