Enjoy a fabulous week's sailing in the Croatian sun from Pula, Croatia on a chartered 43 foot yacht from 19th -26th June 2016.
Pula is situated at the southern tip of the Istrian peninsula and is the area's largest city. Located beneath seven hills and with views of the Adriatic, Pula's unspoiled natural surroundings are magical. Known for its mild climate and tame, beautiful sea, Pula also has a long tradition of winemaking, fishing and shipbuilding. It is also home to many ancient Roman buildings, including the well-preserved, magnificent amphitheater.
The nightlife in Pula takes a very laid back approach. Many people from Pula visit the city surrounding villages like Medulin, PjeÂana Uvala, Premantura because there are a number of sociable nightlife ventures. The exception of all that is the fact that over the past decade, Pula has become a famous destination because of some of the largest and best festivals in Europe which are visited by tens of thousands of people each year. The place where they are being held is Fort Punta Christo – old Austrian-Hungarian fort built in the beginning of the 19th century, which is located several kilometers away from Pula.
The yacht we will be chartering is very well equipped and spacious, with a dinghy and an outboard engine. All bedding and towels will be provided. The yacht is berthed in Pula, very close to the Marina. Price includes transport from the airport to the Marina, linen and cleaning of the yacht.
The area is an excellent place to sail, with lots of nice sandy bays to anchor and lovely beaches to sunbathe, relax and swim. It also offers a variety of restaurants and bars.
