Soak up the sun and sea and enjoy our private villa with swimming pool, take in some sightseeing to the many top tourist attractions that make the Algarve so popular, this is a holiday dream of sun, sea and relaxation by day and lively, mouth watering cuisine and partying by night.
The Algarve enjoys over 3,000 hours of sunshine per year and with a low annual average rainfall, enjoys mild weather throughout the year, which is certainly a big attraction for visitors, along with a magnificant coast line, top tourist attractions and many activities to engage in.
Albufeira is known throughout Portugal for its thriving nightlife, offering everything from chic cocktail bars to all-night music clubs. Partying is a serious business here; most clubs open after 11.30pm and dont close until the sun comes up. If youre feeling lucky, head to one of the many glamorous casinos.
As far as food is concerned, the spotlight is naturally on fresh fish and seafood, either grilled or in a stew, there are meat dishes, more common inland, and almond and fig cakes. Enjoy a coffee and a pastal da nata a local custard tart with cinnamon, drink the Vino Verde a sparkling young wine.
Our Accommodation
We have secured for the very first time our own Private Villa with Swimming Pool, located in a quiet location close to the busy resort of Albuferia, and a short drive to the marina in Villamoura, just 3 km from the beach. Overlooking some vineyards and the ocean, the Villa Isabella is close to the a couple of the famous holiday resorts but far enough away for us to enjoy a peaceful relaxing sunbathe by our very own pool.The villa offers many amenties, enjoy a complete holiday experience in a fantastic villa, surronded by nature,  and in the evening's,the lively resorts are close by to add to that holiday magic .
Itinerary
Saturday:
After a shopping trip for the essentials i.e. food and wine,at one of the local supermarkets, we can enjoy our spectacular villa and its pool, lets soak up some sun, relax and start to unwind, before getting ready to party in the lively resort of Albuferia. We can enjoy a meal before mingling with the Saturday night party people and stroll along the strip,filled with its bars and clubs which makes this the most popular resort along the Algarve.
Sunday:
Lets enjoy a lazy day or a walk to the close by Marina and enjoy a Sunday lunch and drink watching the boats sail out of the marina and taking in the cool breeze, the marina offers lots of buzzing activity and is lovely to walk around. There are plenty of excursions, boat trips and activities available from here and a few restaurants (casual and a little more formal) with plenty of places to stop for a drink. This unusual marina boasts some local art with a range of apartments all painted different colours - imagine Balamory but in Pastel! definitely worth a visit! From here we can book a boat trip to go out and look for the dolphins. We can from here walk down or hop on the little train and stroll through the old town of Albuferia as the sun sets, and the fishermen pack up for the day.
Monday:
Jeep Safari: one of the most popular tours on offer, costing about 50 euros for a full day. We will be going out in a 4 x 4 jeep with our own driver, making our way through the Monchique mountains, taking in the magnificent views and discovering about the history and culture of this area. Our jeep driver will explain all about the cork, and we will have an opportunity to sample the local bread and dried fruits, visit the mountain distilleries and enjoy lunch in a typical village. Whilst listening to our guide talk about the moorish influences, and discovering the history and culturers of the country and its people.
After a days sunbathing or Jeep Safari we can enjoy a meal out, taking in one of the fantastic and popular places to eat in the nearby millionaires resort of Vilamoura where 'Figo' the Portugueese international football player has his bar, this resort is golfer's paradise.
Tuesday:
No one can visit the Algarve without visiting the most famous attraction, Zoomarine. If you have ever wanted to swim with dolphins, this is your opportunity. This fantastic park is a full days sightseeing, taking in the many spectacular show. ( we need to book your swim with dolphins in advance).
Located in Guia, just a few kilometres from Albufeira, you can watch presentations with dolphins, seals and sea lions, tropical birds and birds of prey. Here you can also find an amazing aquarium with sharks, various habitats, 4D Cinema, numerous attractions and amusements that will surely make your visit to Zoomarine even more unforgettable.
Zoomarine Beach provides moments of aquatic fun and is a wave beach with salt water surrounded by sand and fantastic water slides.Unique sensations on a journey through a world of knowledge and adventure, where we can discover the mysteries of marine life in a day full of surprises and emotions; a must see attraction.
As its our last evening we can take in one of the many shows available with dinner, kick up our heels and dance on our last evening in Albuferia, or relax back at the Villa with some local wine and cheeses. The choice is yours.
Wednesday:
Lets enjoy some of the mornings sunshine and sunbathing or shopping for the many bargains available at the local gypsy markets, or maybe a walk to the beach before getting ready to return to the airport with many great memories, lots of laughs, a stack of holiday photographs, and some new friends.
