No experience necessary, a professional skipper/ RYA instructor is on board. A great opportunity to learn new sailing skills under the hot Mediterranean sun or just lay back and enjoy the experience.
Among the stunning hotspots we may visit along the way are Ceuta and Marbella.
Ceuta is one of a handful of Spanish possessions on the coastline of Morocco, and a real gem. Located on a peninsula jutting out into the Mediterranean, it offers a compact dose of fantastic architecture, interesting museums, excellent food, a relaxing maritime park and bracing nature walks, with A-plus traveller support at every turn. The city is particularly beautiful at night, a skyline of artfully lit buildings and bursting palms.
Marbella is known as a glamorous resort town and is a favourite location with the rich and famous, boosted by foreign residents who are seduced by the lifestyle. But there's plenty for ordinary folk to see and enjoy too in southern Spain's answer to St Tropez.
Cabopino is a resort we will likely anchor at, where we can enjoy its beautiful beaches and sand dunes, not to mention the tremendous nightlife.
Cabopino is a tiny harbour village which has become a sought-after area to live and visit on holiday. It has a fantastic beaches on either side, which are never too overcrowded and is also beside a natural park of sand dunes and pine trees.
Cabopino is small and perfectly formed, a great location for relaxation and as a jump off to the other areas of the Costa del Sol.The plan is to meet at the yacht at Queensway Marina, Gibraltar. The Marina is about 20 minutes walk from Gibraltar airport.
For nature lovers, Straits of Gibraltar is one of the best locations to observe wildlife at close hand. The straits are on the migration routes of many Dolphins and Whales swimming into the Mediterranean. along with many migratory birds flying to and from Africa.
Seven nights on board yacht in shared accommodation.
There are four double cabins. Three have double beds one has two single bunk beds. Two toilets on board. We will have a dinghy and an outboard engine.
