The Route: 6 miles Sale Water Park
Starting outside Sale Water Park Visitors Centre (the triangular building) and then walking along the river and round Chorlton Water Park, pausing for ice-cream or coffee van.
We will then walk back and then in the opposite direction (so option to drop out 1/2 way round), through some woods and along a secret bit of canal towpath and more woods, before returning via some hides with a brief stop for optional ornithology.
Finishing off with an optional Sunday roast at Jacksons Boat pub. Dogs welcome.
Flat other than walking up/down one embankment. Large carpark by the visitors centre. Sale Water park tram stop is on the airport line.
