Imagine having oodles of fun whilst meeting new people! There is always a great mix of friendly people on our events so if you are in the mood to try some new activities, then this is the event for you.

Our priority is to make sure people have fun and make new friends in a safe friendly environment. Your host will text you in advance to ease any nerves, welcome you and introduce you to other members, as well as being on hand to ensure you have a great time.

Join us at the Manchester Art Gallery on Mosley Street to see 12 original drawings by Leonardo Da Vinci to make the 500th anniversary of his death.

Manchester Art Gallery is taking part in Leonardo da Vinci: A Life in Drawing, a nationwide exhibition to commemorate the artist’s death. We are exhibiting exquisite drawings from the Royal Collection by Leonardo da Vinci concurrently with 11 other UK galleries. Our selection of works focuses on the body and clearly demonstrates Leonardo’s use of drawing to gain an unrivalled understanding of human anatomy. The exhibition includes anatomical studies, caricatures, idealised male and female bodies, drapery, figures in action and studies of an infant and foetus. The selection demonstrates the variety of techniques he used, from pen and ink and watercolour to red and black chalks and metal point, as well as his mastery in depicting ideal and grotesque physical features.

The art gallery is open until 9pm so we can grab a drink or even a bite to eat in the gallery café bar after the exhibition.

What our Members say:
Going to a music festival was one of my ‘bucket list’ activities to try. Admittedly I had something like Glastonbury in mind but when I saw a local music festival on the calendar I signed up straight away. I had a lot of fun. Thanks for a great time. Julie.

I have never been to a murder mystery party, and wasn’t sure whether it was my cup of tea but I was roped into it by other members. It was a fun evening with plenty of laughs. I would definitely recommend giving it a try. Pete.
