Offa's Dyke Countryside Social Walk with Sunday Roast
This excellent walk takes in the highest point on the Clwydian Hills and includes a lengthy section north along the main ridge. Offering views as far as Snowdonia the walk should offer some good photo opportunities.
After starting off in the village we will tackle the assent up Moel Famau, this can be steep but is thankfully not too long. Once we have taken in the views from the summit we head north along the ridge. Once descended from the ridge there is the option to climb to the summit of Moel Arthur (if legs aren’t too tired!) and then we complete the loop back to Cilcain.
The village has a charming pub where we can have a celebratory drink before heading home.
