You will find fine food, wine and ale on your doorstep to complement the glorious lakeside mountain setting of this historic community. Only 10 minutes away from the Lake of Windermere where boat trips can to taken to numerous other pretty parts of the Lake District. This natural place of beauty can be reached in less than 2 hours drive from Manchester. There will be free time to do as you please – wander round the shops in Ambleside, take time out enjoying a cake and cup of tea in one of the many picturesque tea rooms.
