Here, is a spectacular haven of natural beauty and breathtaking landscapes, true Scotland at its best. Awash with superb scenery, highland culture, clan history, lochs and rivers, fresh clean air, unspoilt beaches, castles and quiet country roads the locals will make you very welcome. After Full English Breakfast on Sunday, it is a trip to The World Highland Games in Callander! This year sees a full craft fair, helicopter rides, stalls including pipe band competitions, highland dancing and a full display from the amazing Blue Arrows Display Team. Not to be missed are some of the heavy events which give you a great show of true Scottish heritage; shot putt, tossing the caber, throwing the hammer and many other cultural events.
